Files work well, they just don't last very long. Cheap Chinese metal. For the money I guess I can't complain.At half the price of the orginal I figured. I would give it a shot. Works just as good. Would buy againThis worked as described. Your technique is important so be sure the sharpener is level. I particularly like the feature of filing the depth guides simultaneously with the cutting teeth.
