I love this collar for my dog - it works perfectly and keeps her from pulling. Originally I ordered the med/lg size and it was just a little too big. The medium is perfect. She is a labradoodle and is about 55lbs. She is furry so seemed the bigger collar would have been better. The medium was the way to go. I love the color on her - got the leash too!! I like that you can slip in over her head - and can release the latch. I thought it was a reasonable price and a good solid collar and leash.Love the extra hook for the tags so they’re not directly on the martingale piece. Well made and lovely colorsGreatWell made collar. I ordered a large for my 70 lb Boxer puppy ?I really am impressed with this collar. It has allowed me to take my German Shephard in to mingle with people in stores instead of leaving her in the car! It has made a huge difference in how she obeys and I know that it isn't hurting her in the slightest. It is a very nice, sturdy, comfortable collar. I love it!Designs and colors sold me on trying the collars. I have to constantly adjust the collars because it keeps slipping making it difficult to keep it on while two active dogs are rough housing.For a 1.5 year old male Aussie I ordered a medium and felt it was too small.I have a 6 months old Wirehaired pointer pup.. she is a big luv-& bigger puller ! The collar is good looking and ok-but I still feel - after returning SEVERAL collars -that they are making the LINKS to large and heavy..My past collars did not have this problem: just a heads ( or collar?‍♀️) up!UPDATE: 3.5 months of wear and the “plastic” attachment for their tags has broken. I was lucky to find her tags in the yard- so I’m not thrilled with the “durability “ of this part. The fabric and links are still fineJ'ai adopté une doberman qui a servi a faire des chiots encagée. J'ai essayé d'autres trucs comme le licou, mais ce collier est génial car il ne blesse pas le chien mais lui rappelle qu'il ne doit pas tirer. Un entrainement est quand même nécessaire mais l'amélioration est bonne alors je suis très contente et je le recommande :)I had been looking for a new martingale collar but they were all material no chain which I prefer. This is a bonus with the clip to disconnect rather than having to undo it all the time. Bought one for the Sottie too for my dad to use. Although it's a little stiff yet for him to disconnect it's great getting her to behave and he doesn't need to worry about her slipping out of it.I ordered one for my other dog and i loved it. Since the Medium was too big for my other dog, i went to a small.They are accurate by saying it goes to 14.5. but Keep in mind it's including the clasp in that measurement.I love it though, even tough it's tighter than Id wish it would be. Im hoping it will stretch with use.The chain on the small collar is not comparable to the medium one. ( See photos).A great option would be have a medium size but 3/4" wide collar. That would be perfect.My problem with this collar is that although you can see it would be durable and sturdy, the metal has oxidized and left a dark grey mark on my dog's white neck. So, unfortunately it’s not something that’s appropriate for my pup as I’d be afraid of a skin reaction.**I’d like to add that the company went above and beyond and kindly refunded this product. A class act! Thank you!Very well made and very attractive! A Martingale collar provides better control over a dog than anything I know and is very inexpensive! No dog can get out of a Martingale collar!! I have Huskies and they cannot get out. They have escaped some harnesses.
